Job Summary

The Insights Business Analyst is a key member of the Marketing & Insights team, working cross-functionally to gather reporting requirements, understand business needs, analyze data sources and existing reports, assist with data modeling, and create user interface mockups for reporting.


Essential Functions
  • Assist with project management for reporting projects and serve as a liaison between Business Insights and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with Operations, Client Services, and other internal and external stakeholders to define and document user stories, acceptance criteria, basic functional and non-functional specifications, and process flows to correctly convey requirements to the Business Insights team
  • Synthesize data from multiple, often disparate sources
  • Assist in the creation of data models, data mapping documents, and data set requirements
  • Assist in the evaluation of data integration options
  • Design and present user interface mockups to internal stakeholders, seeking sign-off before report development commences
  • Assist with report development as needed
  • Perform ad hoc analyses to support business insight needs

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
  • 3+ years in a business analyst role
  • 1+ year of experience in project management, including experience with various Agile methodologies
  • 1+ year of SQL experience, preferably in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • 1+ year of Microsoft Power BI experience
  • Experience in data modeling, including Entity Relationships or UML highly preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Highly skilled critical thinker and creative problem solver
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Highly organized and efficient
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources into concise business recommendations
  • Contact center experience preferred, but not required

*Candidates selected to move forward in the process will be required to take an assessment and complete a short project.


Hours & Travel

We offer a flexible office culture, with the expectation that most work will be completed Monday-Friday during daytime hours. Limited evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required to meet client needs. Some travel may occasionally be required, up to 10% of the time.

This will be a remote work position available to candidates in the United States.
