Patient Resource Specialist Supporting a Pharmaceutical Company

This client, a biotechnology and pharmaceutical company, provides support to patients on life-saving immunology medication.

As a Marketplace Contractor supporting this client, you will be the lighthouse guiding patients on their health journey, ensuring that they receive their medications without issue and that they have access to all available resources. You can expect an average day to include:

  • Logging into multiple systems and making scheduled outbound patient check-in calls.
  • Answering inbound calls from patients.
  • Directing patients to financial resources that can help them afford their medication.
  • Connecting patients with other business partners like insurance specialists.
  • Helping patients prepare for discussions with their healthcare providers, and assisting them with reporting any medication, product, or quality issues.

This client requires all Independent Contractors supporting the program to service 30 or more hours per week, and contractors supporting this program can invoice at a rate of $15 per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional incentives each month for reaching client-determined goals.

Work From Home Patient Resource Specialist

Customer Service Representative Supporting Self-Directed Medicaid Programs

This client, a facilitator of self-directed care programs, provides payroll services for caregivers. In these programs, patients who have Medicaid are able to hire the caregiver they choose. This client helps facilitate the payments to caregivers.

As an Independent Contractor supporting this client, you will handle inbound calls and answer questions from patients and caregivers, assist with enrollment steps, and help callers get set up in the client’s systems. You will also handle inquiries pertaining to timecards, payments for caregivers, and budgets regarding hours allotted for care. You can expect an average day to include:

  • Answering incoming calls from patients and caregivers with compassion and professionalism, responding to their questions and providing them with important information.
  • Actively assisting with enrollment, program applications, and set up in applicable systems.
  • Retrieving information to assist caregivers with any payroll-related inquiries.
  • Utilizing de-escalation techniques when supporting upset or frustrated callers.
  • Offering guidance and directions to both caregivers and patients to effectively resolve any issues they are facing.

This client requires all Independent Contractors supporting the program to service 20 or more hours per week, and contractors supporting this program can invoice at a rate of $13 per hour.

Self-Directed Caregiver Opportunity

Customer Support Representative Supporting a Healthcare Administration Provider

This client, a healthcare administration provider, helps ensure vulnerable and underserved populations receive the vital care they need.

As a Customer Support Representative supporting this client, you’ll have the unique and rewarding opportunity to provide essential support to individuals enrolling in public benefit programs. Your empathetic and patient approach will help ensure that callers receive the assistance they need, making a tangible impact on their well-being and peace of mind. You can expect an average day to include:

  • Answering inbound calls and interacting with all customers in a professional, empathetic, and compassionate manner.
  • Providing information in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws.
  • Assisting customers with program enrollment.
  • Routing customers to the appropriate contacts via three-way calls to ensure a smooth call transfer.
  • Assisting customers with their communication needs through the use of relay services for callers with speech or hearing impairments, and translation services for callers who don’t speak English.
  • Placing outbound calls as needed to share time-sensitive information with customers.

This opportunity is perfect for Independent Contractors seeking 10 to 15 hours per week, and contractors supporting program can invoice at a rate of $13.00 per hour.
