Job Summary

The Social Media Specialist is a social media expert; responsible for growing and engaging NexRep’s network of current and prospective agents; driving brand awareness among prospective clients; and managing all social listening needs.


Essential Functions
  • Increase engagement, follower, and sign-ups across all channels
  • Develop, build, and manage NexRep agent social community
  • Ensure all social media content is consistent with branding, positioning, voice, and messaging
  • Manage organic social media and content calendars
  • Actively monitor social channels for key issues and post timely key customer updates
  • Track and measure success of programs and communicate results to support recommendations for future programs
  • Be an expert, staying up to date on social trends and providing recommendations on social executions for marketing campaigns
  • Drive creative innovation that creates breakthrough conversations about our brand and products
  • Leverage messaging, content, promotions, press, to build earned media presence

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, English, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in social media, content marketing, communications
  • Extensive knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant social media networks
  • Demonstrated success of social/content campaigns and programs that have helped drive lead acquisition, affinity, and relevance for brands
  • A mastery for storytelling and community building via written and visual communication
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects at the same time while maintaining attention to detail
  • Ability to identify strategic and creative social media collaborations
  • Experience with social media/networking platforms and tools:
    • Design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.)
    • Monitoring tools and experience with social listening (Brandwatch, Brand24, etc.)
    • Content management and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Sprout Social, etc.)

Hours & Travel

We offer a flexible office culture, with the expectation that most work will be completed Monday-Friday during daytime hours. Limited evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required to meet client needs. Some travel may occasionally be required, up to 10% of the time.

This will be a remote work position for as long as social distancing is recommended due to COVID-19.
