Job Summary

The Content Marketing Specialist is a copywriting and content creation expert, responsible for creating content for online and print communications, press releases, and client proposals; supporting website maintenance and optimization; and providing general support to the marketing team.


Essential Functions
  • Write and edit content for infographics, whitepapers, case studies, sales decks, blog posts, web pages, emails, social media, videos, press releases, client proposals, and recruiting materials
  • Develop and leverage a deep understanding of company services, key value propositions, terminology, and brand voice
  • Help to bring the NexRep story to life through blogs, customer stories, agent stories, etc.
  • Research and pitch content topics
  • Upload and update web content as needed
  • Perform ongoing keyword and SEO optimization for web pages
  • Track data, update reports, analyze results, and incorporate learnings to improve results
  • Monitor and stay current on news and social trends affecting our business, industry, and stakeholders
  • Liaise and partner with internal and external team members to successfully complete projects
  • Assist the marketing team in day-to-day activities

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, English, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing
  • 1+ year of experience with WordPress and HTML/CSS
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and editing skills
  • A mastery for storytelling and community building via written and visual communication
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and projects at the same time while maintaining attention to detail
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Experience with marketing automation software (HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, etc.) preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud preferred, but not required

Hours & Travel

We offer a flexible office culture, with the expectation that most work will be completed Monday-Friday during daytime hours. Limited evening, weekend, and holiday hours may be required to meet client needs. Some travel may occasionally be required, up to 10% of the time.

This will be a remote work position for as long as social distancing is recommended due to COVID-19.
